180 million years ago Lincolnshire lay beneath a tropical sea that was home to incredible and fascinating creatures, such as plesiosaurs, ammonites and belemnites.

Our part day Jurassic Sea workshop brings these now extinct creatures back to life with fossil handling, creature modelling and more.

The main archaeology gallery at Lincoln Museum is currently closed whilst the museum undergoes a complete refresh.  This exciting project involves updating all the displays, and creating a new, immersive experience that showcases Lincolnshire’s history, right back to its very earliest inhabitants.
