Due to popular demand we offer a local site study for age ranges 14 to 18+. The learning team have a range of history, archaeology, humanities and social studies specialisms and wide experience in delivering courses from GCSE and A Level to University level. This part day offer can be tailored to specific course needs and explores and interprets the development and features of Lincoln Castle. Recent examples have included interpreting the visitor experiences at a heritage site and exploring the changes in law & order.
The LCC Learning team offers support for GCSE and A Level History courses and themed sessions relating to interpretation and site investigation. Recent visits have focused upon exploring the site to see how the function of a building affects its form.
We are happy to support the focus upon a local study for GCSE History so please contact us to review your specific requirements and we can work with you to provide a suitable offer that supports your curriculum needs. We are also able to support GCSE studies regarding Crime and Punishment through time including, for example, Victorian prison reform.
